If you think someone may be trying to harm you, or stealing from your home while you’re not there, there are ways you can set up surveillance to catch them in the act. Former CIA officer Jason Hanson shows us some tools that we can use to protect ourselves.
- Nanny cams can be placed in a variety of items so you can secretly film your home without anyone else’s knowledge. You can buy cameras in stuffed animals, smoke detectors, even car key fobs. Cameras are so small these days you can put one in almost anything.
- You can track the person you think is harming you by using GPS technology. If you have access to their cellphone, you can put GPS tracking apps on it. If not, you can get a magnetic GPS tracker and place it on their car where they can’t see it.
- As a last resort, you can hire private investigators or surveillance teams to track the person you need information on.
- Be sure to backup any photo or video evidence so it doesn’t get lost or destroyed.
